It was my first visit to Sole D’oro London in Palmers Green, North London and it was truly amazing.Â
Firstly the interior was stunning. It was renovated in lockdown, so the restaurant looks modern and fresh!
How many local restaurants do you know with a Wood-fired oven? It grabbed my attention as soon as I walked in!
Before I tell you about the food, I have to mention how amazing the owners, Abi and Dan! I was greeted as soon as I walked in, shown to table and offered a drink almost immediately! They advised me what drinks they thought I would like (local gin of course ). They source organic wine and their gin supplier is @oldbakerygin! I was happy to support local businesses!Â
Dan insisted that I tried the sangria, and that was amazing!
I appreciated that they took the time out to talk to us and get a feel about what we liked!
What was the food like?The prawns and calamari were absolutely spectacular! But… the pizzas was one of the best I have ever ordered! The ingredients were high end, it was cooked to perfection and it tasted spectacular too!Â
