Puss In Boots – Easter Panto

With Easter just over a month away, tickets are selling fast for this year’s Dugdale Centre Easter Pantomime! The time has come to announce the cast!

No Panto is complete without a Dame, and reprising the role of Queen Doris from the Hoxton Hall Christmas production will be Andrew Lambe. Andrew has graced many stages appearing in a diverse range of shows from Shakespeare to the musical Oliver, Comedy Lab Plus at the Soho Theatre to The Pride at Trafalgar Studios and of course Panto as Dame Trott.

In Puss in Boots, there are two baddies; the Ogre and his Henchman played by Windsor Liong whose previous panto credits include Puss in Boots at Hoxton Hall last Christmas, Jack & the Beanstalk at Theatre Royal Stratford East and many more appearances to list. Our poor protagonist is Colin, the younger son of the old Miller will be played by the Dugdale Centre’s much loved Chris Wills who previously appeared in several of the children’s productions at the venue and was Wishee Washee in Aladdin at Millfield Theatre, Christmas 2016.

From the Urdang Academy we have recent graduate Lottie-Daisy Francis, in the role of Princess Alice, who having made her Pantomime debut in the role at Hoxton Hall last Christmas makes her first appearance at Enfield’s Dugdale Centre.

Just when you thought that was all, we have, of course, the finest feline in Pantoland, playing Puss is Lydia Rose Bertie, whose purr-fect performance will prowl the Dugdale stage to change Colin’s future as can only happen in a fairytale. Oh yes it can! Some of you will remember Lydia’s stunning performance as Jill, in Jack and the Beanstalk at Millfield this Christmas, so don’t miss this opportunity to see her in a very different disguise.

The shows Writer & Director, Marc Day said, ‘Following on from the previous eight Easter Pantomimes, I am delighted to introduce our fabulous loyal audience members to some familiar faces along with new talented performers. As with last year the production also features four local children from the borough.’

With the combination of the talent above and all the pantomime essentials, music, dance, audience participation, and a sprinkle of panto magic, Puss in Boots promises to be a fabulous panto for all the family. So why not whisk-er your way to the Dugdale Centre this Easter. (did we mention bad jokes?)
