“Streetz Ahead inspires young people to express themselves to build their confidence through the power of dance and performance in a creative, inclusive and supportive environment and also engages a wider range of young audiences through their professional productions using their unique style.”

As a leading North London dance and performing arts charity with over 20 years of experience, we offer weekly training and development opportunities in street dance, drama, spoken word & mentoring to over 450 young people every week.

Our passionate teachers have a commitment to encouraging the talents of young people and are dedicated to empowering and equipping them with invaluable skills that only the arts can give.

We are so excited to start our autumn term commencing in October with a brand new package. Our street dance course will run for 8 weeks and we will be working towards an arts award. Each child will also receive a wellbeing journal.

The discovery arts award is designed to inspire and make connections to the wider arts world.

The young people will be encouraged to participate in and engage with a range of challenges in diverse art forms and create their own Well-Being Journal. Reflecting on and developing their ideas through the journal is fundamental to this programme and will be facilitated by a mentor who will encourage creativity, critical analysis and self reflection.
