Empire Sport and Performance Academy is an award-winning programme based in Enfield. Children learn cheerleading stunts, jumps, gymnastics and dance, aerial hoop and have the opportunities to perform at events across London and compete at regional and national championships in the UK.
Our main purpose is to provide athletes and their families with incredible life experiences through cheerleading, that they may not otherwise experience; and by doing this, develop and grow passionate, dedicated and resilient young people.
We aim that every child develops an intricate understanding and gains transferable key life skills and strategies such as: self-confidence and pride; self-discipline and commitment, teamwork and tolerance of others, dedication and reliability, integrity and honourability – qualities that will stay with them through all walks of life and that will enable them to go on to build and be their own empire. And, we aim to do all this whilst still promoting an atmosphere of fun, fitness and friendships!

My child has no experience of cheerleading, can they still join?
Absolutely! Our classes welcome complete beginners. Since starting every member we have had has come to us with no prior experience in cheerleading.

Are there other costs involved?
Yes - we have an annual membership. This includes the child's club t-shirt and hair bows. You may need to pay for a competition uniform and entry fee IF the squad competes.

Can boys do cheerleading?

I have more than one child, do you offer family discounts?
Yes, we offer discounts for families of 2 or more children.

I'm not sure if my child will like it, do you offer taster sessions?
Yes, we offer free taster sessions for the first class.
