| An evening with… Gary Mabbutt Chickenshed are thrilled to be hosting Spurs legend Gary Mabbutt for an evening of anecdotes, reminiscence and insider stories… Beloved by Tottenham fans, Gary was the club captain for several years. He played in over 400 League games and numerous Cup matches over 17 seasons. Gary clocked up over 600 appearances for Spurs, and has universally been regarded as a fine ambassador for his sport. But that is not the end of the story, because after being diagnosed with diabetes he continued to perform at the very highest level on the pitch. Gary is very generously donating his time for this evening so that all proceeds will go directly to funding Chickenshed’s work with young people.
